Barcelona

Last weekend the girls and I traveled to Barcelona Spain for one of our last trips all together. Barcelona has been a city that I have been dying to see ever since my brother studied abroad there. I remember seeing all of his pictures and thinking how beautiful this city was and ever since then it has been on my bucket list of places to see. It was so amazing and relaxing I couldn't see how anyone could hate it there. We arrived late to the hostel on Thursday night after a day of traveling and we all tried to get some sleep because we knew we were going to have a long day on Friday.

On Friday we all woke up bright and early and headed to the nearest Starbucks for our much needed coffee fix. Because after all whats a trip to another country if we didn't get Starbucks!! After we all finished our coffee we headed over to Park Güell where we spent the morning walking around and exploring this beautiful park. Of course we all felt like the cheetah girls and were singing the songs at the top of our lungs all morning. So many people were staring at us trying to figure out what we were doing but we all just were having so much fun laughing and just being silly.

After our adventures at Park Güell, we took a bus and headed over to the Sangrada Familia. We had a really awesome lunch at a small mexican restaurant up the road from the church. Once we finished and walked over to the church we were all amazed at the craziness of this church. Not one thing was the same, it was so abstract but so so beautiful. It was unlike any kind of building I have ever seen that ever where you looked something was different.

After we visited the Sangrada Familia we went to explore some of Guadi's famous buildings. We saw the Casa Batlló and the Casa Mila which were so cool and extremely detailed.

That night we all went out to one of the most famous clubs in Barcelona. Opium was right on the beach with a really cool atmosphere. The music was awesome and we all had a really good time.

The next morning we headed to the beach to get a little sun and relaxation before the soccer match that night. The beach was so beautiful and the water was so blue and we all just felt so relaxed laying out soaking up the sun.

A few hours later we had to leave so we had enough time to make it to the Barcelona game that night. The FC Barcelona soccer match was so much fun. It was incredible to be at the stadium and see one of the worlds best soccer teams play their last league game. It was one of their best players, Xavi's last game ever and being at that last game where the crowd was so crazy was something I won't forget for a while to come.

On our last day we did a walking tour of the Gothic area of the city. This area is one of the oldest parts of Barcelona and it was really amazing learning about the history of this city and seeing all the streets, buildings, and churches.

The rest of the day we just spent relaxing on the beach and shopping at some store in La Rambla. At night we saw the famous Magic Fountain Show, which was really nice. They played music while this gigantic fountain was light up with all different colors and water was flying in ever direction.

That night we ate at the Hard rock cafe, where I had one of the BEST burgers ever!! As soon as we finished it was time to pack and head out to catch our flight. We headed to the airport to catch our flight that was at 6am and we had to say goodbye to Barca. This past weekend was an amazing trip that was a good last trip that we all took together. Thank you Barca for giving us a great weekend!

Cinque Terre

On Sunday the girls and I headed to the coast of Italy for a relaxing day at the beach! We were up very early to make our train at 6 am, which was a struggle for all of us since we were SO TIRED! But after taking a nap on the train we arrived in the beautiful area that is Cinque Terre! The day was very relaxing as we got to spend the day seeing the amazing scenery and beaches. Here are some of my pictures from our day on the Coast!

Of course since it was sunny and 75 degrees out we all decided to go paddle boarding in the   Mediterranean Sea! The water was so warm and we all had such a great time just being at the beach!

Cinque Terre was a great and relaxing way to spend Sunday. We all got lots of sun, sand and of course some fresh margaritas! So thank you to this beautiful city, we all had an awesome day!!
